Chassis Restoration

The restoration process begins by stripping the vehicle down to the bare chassis.

The chassis is then assessed and shot blasted back to bare steel.

After inspection, any necessary metalwork is completed before the chassis is powder-coated, preparing it for the rebuild.

Suspension and Brakes

The suspension, axles and brakes are disassembled, with the differentials inspected for wear.

Bearings are replaced as necessary and the casings are powder-coated.

The components are then rebuilt with new brake calipers, discs, and pads.

Wheel bearings are replaced, along with all seals and gaskets.

Engine and Gearbox Process

You can choose a new engine for your model or opt for a reconditioned unit. Reconditioned engines are completely rebuilt by our experts and returned with zero mileage.

The manual gearbox and transfer case are sent to a specialised company we collaborate with.

If an automatic gearbox is requested, it is sourced from Ashcroft Transmissions, a globally renowned supplier within the Land Rover community.

Finishing Detail

Bodywork

All bodywork is stripped and prepared inside and out for painting. Panels are replaced as necessary.

Once preparations are complete, the panels are individually transferred to the paint booth. Panels are painted in-house for the best quality finish.

The underseal is coated with a textured polymer-based sealant, which not only provides a durable rubber-like finish but also reduces road noise.

Assembly

Once the paintwork is complete, the body is reattached to the rolling chassis.

The wiring loom is first inserted back into the chassis.

The tub is fitted in place, followed by the bulkhead and the rest of the vehicle is assembled.

Interior Work

With the vehicle rebuilt, the interior work begins.

The dashboard is installed first, along with all wiring and electrical components. Sound-deadening material is applied, followed by carpets and insulation.

The headliner is fitted next, along with seats, trims, audio systems and any additional customer-specified features.
